David K. Heydinger
President
Dave Heydinger founded Mathias Corporation in 1995 after a diverse and effective career experience in all three major roles of our industry: Design, Development, and Construction. Understanding clearly, and with direct hands-on experience, the perspective and responsibilities of all members of a Project Team is an invaluable benefit to each project and to the culture of our firm. More importantly, the ability to guide and assist our clients seamlessly from concept to completion has been a hallmark added value that Mathias provides every day.
Dave is a graduate of the Vanderbilt University School of Engineering and has been highly active in the community. He has served various boards and organizations including Rotary, the Board of Directors for both the Gwinnett County Chamber of Commerce and the Elbert County Chamber of Commerce, is an active youth sports coach as well as being a Certified Lay Speaker in The United Methodist Church.
Patrick Tyndall
Vice President
Patrick has extensive experience in many types of projects with over thirty three years of project management and pre-construction experience. Patrick has the unusual ability to understand the entirety of the project from the very beginning, foreseeing the pitfalls before they become problems, and protecting the customer from costly and frustrating surprises.
He anchors his projects with the ability to focus on the most important issues, foster open and team-oriented communication, and will help everyone involved avoid the pitfalls of allowing the stress or emotion of the construction process to negatively affect the project or the relationships involved.
Patrick graduated from Auburn University with a B.S. in Building Science, joined Mathias in 1998 and is active in his community of Suwanee and serves in many lay leadership roles in the ministries of North Metro First Baptist Church.
Mark Sutter
Partner
Mark is a key operational leader for our company and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to every project. Having a degree in Building Construction from Purdue University and over thirty-five years of experience as both a Superintendent and a Project Manager, we are proud to say that there is no person with more skill and commitment to making every project successful for the entire Project Team. Mark’s projects are of the highest quality, always completed on time and the Owners and Design Professionals that are involved never fail to say how extremely detailed, prepared and effective he is in the management role, as well as how pleased they are with the project.
Mark joined Mathias Corporation in 1998 and is a prominent talent in the Atlanta construction industry.
Mark and his wife raise and train Labrador Retrievers, having distinguished themselves with multiple Field Champions as well as a National Amateur Champion.
